Lug Provides Official Swag Bag of Golden Globes 2016

At all the Golden Globe awards ceremonies, celebrities look forward to hitting the red carpet in designer- wear, but there is also the perk of the celebrity swag bag. Each year, they select a myriad of A-List products and fill featured bags for the female and male attendees to take home, whether they have been only nominated or walked away with the Golden Globe.
This year, for the guys, it was the Lug Shuttlebus Weekender Wheelie Bag. Lug is a brand that was developed by a husband and wife team to bring organization to the family “on the go”. It is also a brand that has had a great amount of celebrity endorsement, prior to being selected for the men’s swag bag of 2016.
The Lug Shuttle Bus Weekender Bag is constructed of a hardy polyester fabric and has a multitude of compartments for organization, including a ventilated zip compartment on the back and a soft-lined interior accessory compartment for more fragile items. It also has double handles, a padded shoulder strap, or a retractable handle and wheels to get you where you need to go.
At The Golden Globes this year, they used every organizational pocket to hold some of the most popular grooming and accessory products for men. The products included: Caolin Hot and Cool Pore Cleaner Duo; L’Oreal Men’s Expert Moisturizer; Lug Bento 3-Piece Toiletry Set; Rituals Skincare Samurai Magic Shave and Fig Fragrance Sticks; Rusk Hair Products; a Corkcicle Brushed Copper Tumbler; a Dunheger Travel Scale; Incipio F80 Earbuds; a Misfit Wearable Flash Link; and a Wolf Manufacturing Travel Neck Pillow, among others. The celebrity men not only get to try some of the hottest products out there, but also end up with one of the most sought-after, every day luggage pieces.

Men’s Fashion Advice - De-cluttering your man bag

Most of us have heard of them, and many of us poke fun at them: Man bags. The battle of the genders has made it politically correct to define a man as having ‘man bag’, and a woman possessing the time-honoured handbag.
Like a ‘man draw’, a man bag can perhaps be loosely-defined as home to all manner of paraphernalia associated with being a man. It may be like a fascinating junkshop containing abstract possessions: Old bus passes; crushed packets of crisps; electrical devices; magazines; old batteries; dried-up pens and even sweaty gym gear…the list goes on…
Some argue men are less organised at de-cluttering their personal bag then women. Debatable? Meanwhile, others will argue handbags contain more unnecessary bits and bobs. However heated the arguments, how can your beloved bag be de-cluttered?

Men’s Luggage Advice - Garment bags

Basically, garment bags have two purposes: One is to protect the fabric of your clothing from moisture, dust, and insects; The other purpose is to give the traveler the advantage of placing hanging garments into a piece of luggage that will keep them protected and with less wrinkles than having them folded in other suitcases. Either way, if the clothes are put in clean and ironed, they should ready to wear when you take them out.
At one store I found, the merchants sell a nice multi-purpose Garment Bag. For $20, it is an eco-friendly bag that will allow you to use it as a tote for taking laundry to the cleaners, as well as keeping them clean and protected in your closet, when you get them back. Totally a steal!

Men’s Fashion Review: Jack Georges Slim Flapover
I needed a new soft briefcase a week ago and I needed it stat. Luggage and the like takes some deliberation over what size, color, and material (though I don’t know how anyone could settle for anything less than leather), so I did my due diligence albeit in quickly. Since I was primarily interested in something compact (I already have a vintage American Tourist suitcase for heavy loads) I eventually decided on a piece from Jack Georges, a well-known bag manufacturer. I’m very impressed by the item for the following reasons.
The piece is clearly constructed by precise hands, with the leather being in excellent shape. The stitching is without divergence and the flap goes up and down just as one would want it to. The handle is sturdy at the grip but also easily adjusted at the ends. The buckle for the flap clicks open without a hitch while also serving as a sturdy lock. The pocket making up the back could fit a number of papers pretty cozily.
There are a few compartments inside ranging in size; I keep a small digital camera the biggest one, pens and the like in another and a phone charger in one too. The bag conforms nicely when several items, e.g. a notebook and folders in my case, are inside the pouch. There is also a long zipper pocket that is very useful for carrying business cards, a bottle of cream, lip balm, etc.
The only (tiny) gripe I have with this briefcase is that the inside would serve be a little roomier. But, hey, I guess they call it slim for a reason.
Overall, a great buy and would recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, this specific model has been discontinued, so your only bet is finding it online. Good luck! It’ll be worth the hustling.
