I can’t tell whether my entry registered or not. After filling out the form and clicking the Submit button, nothing really happened. There was no acknowledgment of the entry and I noticed that the loading indicator was spinning (and never stopped). That was in Safari.
So I decided to try it in Firefox, but there, the entry form part of the page took a very, very long time to load and, when it did, it still had problems. I entered my name and email into the form, but the form continued to say “This field is required” under two of the fields (even though they WERE filled in) and the Submit button would not respond. Finally, I figured out that I actually had to manually type the information into those fields (Firefox’s autofill wasn’t sufficient). Fine, so I typed and hit the Submit button. At that point, a small white box appeared with only a single word to click on: “close”. And when I clicked it, it said “authentication failed” and dumped me back to the entry form. (I know from my attempts on Safari that there was SUPPOSED to be an “I am not a robot” validation in that white box, but it never appeared in Firefox over several attempts.)
So, not being one to give up easily, I launched Chrome, but the entry form part of your page never did load there.
I certainly hope the people who manufactured this appealing timepiece were more competent than the person who put together your web site (or at least this contest page). I was prepared to enter every day, but that will apparently not be possible. Bummer.
