This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bloomingdale’s. All opinions are 100% mine.
I think you gents would like to know about Bloomingdale’s Design your own Tote contest, brought to you the discerning consumer in part by handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff. Contests are always fun, but this is one is special in that YOU get to design the bag using the tools on the Tote-ally Green design contest website to digitally create a tote-able design. Here’s the one I came up with:
Yeah, I know, nothing too exciting – what can I say, I’m in my abstract blue phase. But you should definitely fiddle around with the various paint options or even upload a design you made in Photoshop or whatever. Some of the entries up there already are pretty sweet: a bird pattern, a flower drawing, an eco-conscious logo, etc. Point being: go crazy and be creative as hell.
The best part? This isn’t a one-time dealie either: A winner will be chosen everyday, based on the favorite submissions, and will receive a $100 Gift Card to Bloomies. The contest runs from April 7- April 25, 2010 and submissions are whittled down to 50 favorites based on the collected user votes. If you come up with that baller of a design, you could get the grand prize of a $2,000 shopping spree IN ADDITION TO your design being sold exclusively at bloomingdales.com. How cool does that sound? Go give it a whirl!
