Win a fabulous hat from Block Headwear!!!

Gents, it’s time for another great contest! This week our friends at Block Headwear are giving away a super-chic hat! Block Headwear design and produce hats and caps with a simple and relaxed yet still distinctly New York City vibe.

There’s three ways to try and nab the fashionable piece:

1) Post a comment to this post detailing the most ridiculous hat you’ve ever seen. I think a number of Lady GaGa’s choices fit the bill…

2) Hit the Like button the Block Headwear page. If you decide to enter this way, be sure that we’ll be able to contact you through Facebook in order to get you your prize!

3) Follow Block on Twitter (@Blockheadwear) and tweet, “I Rock @Blockheadwear!” If you decide to enter this way, be sure that we’ll be able to contact you through Twitter in order to get you your prize!

Please note contest is limited to persons in the U.S. and Canada. One winner will be selected at random.

The deadline’s Tuesday, September 13th, 2011 at 6 pm EDT. And don’t forget to include your email address in your submission! Good luck, gents!

  3. Everyone has seen (or I just assume) the ‘coon skin’ hats with the tail hanging like road kill on your head. Well, I once saw and older gentleman that you could tell found comedy in his head dress wearing a skunk skin/tail hat. I’ve got to admit, it takes a certain kind of person to step out in something like that. :)

Thanks so much! I’ve always wanted a sharp hat.

  4. I feel terrible writing it, but I thought Princess Beatrice’s hat at the royal wedding was the most ridiculous hat I’ve ever seen.

  5. The most ridiculous hat I’ve ever seen was an Alexander McQueen butterfly hat. The red butterflies looked like they were swarming the model’s head. It looked pretty cool though.

  6. The most ridiculous thing I have seen worn as a hat was a t-shirt used as back/neck shield while on the river for 3 days. Sunscreen was doing nothing, so we all decided on the style. Ridiculous, yes, but we didn’t have beat red necks.

  7. My grandmother insists on wearing hats which call atttention and not always in a good way. One hat she wore had she made from that pretend fruit you make with glitter and pins. She looked like she had a fruit bowl on her head. I love her with all of my heart but those hats!

  8. The most ridiculous hat I’ve ever seen? A gross chewed-gum pink monstrosity knit out of eyelash yarn.

  9. Probably the vinyl salt shaker hat I made with styrofoam “salt” and a silver lame top for a Jimmy Buffet concert was the most ridiculous I’ve ever seen.

  10. So many to choose and yes Lady Gaga’s just fits ridiculous :) but I think the hats worn at the Royal Wedding, were just too much for me personally :)

  11. I once saw a woman wearing a hat with about 30 “adult devices” on her hat. She had quite the variety on it too. Different colors, sizes, shapes & styles. This was during the day and not near Halloween or anything like that. I did not have time to ask her what was up with it but she looked happy.

  12. Seeing people walk around with foam cheese hats from Wisconsin never ceases to amaze me.

  13. The most rediculous hat I have seen was on an elderly woman that I worked with …she decorated her easter hat with huge fake birds, flowers and ribbons in bright clashing colors…some of them neon. Thanks

  14. Lady Gaga hats definitely fit the bill. One that I thought was particularly funny was the white fuzzy one she was wearing that covered her head and face. It made her look like the abominable snow man.

  15. My boys have some weird hats from vacation spots-a hat with a bridge on it, hot dog hat, one with lots of fabric that is really long!

  16. I’ve seen some pretty ridiculous hats on Parrotheads at Jimmy Buffett concerts.

  17. The craziest hat I have seen was the one that Princess Beatrice wore for the Royal couple’s wedding.
