Landon Donovan’s got a nice suit on there, no doubt. But notice the state of his pants, particularly the left leg: looks like a botched hem job to me. I feel like the cut wouldn’t look so jarring had he decided to go with dress shoes other than white tennis shoes. Don’t listen to anyone who says otherwise: the paradigmatic items of formalwear and streetwear operate towards separate ends and not even soccer superstars can make them work together. Landon, go with a nice pair of derbies next time.
