Shopping for maternity wear can be a daunting task. Many women I know are proud of the fact that they can still fit into their old clothing. Perhaps it’s a form of denial, wanting this bodies to look the same as they did pre-pregnancy. Or maybe the idea of springing for entire new wardrobe for nine months doesn’t quite fit their budget.
But there comes a time in every pregnancy when those stretched out T-shirts and sweats no longer work. Maybe it’s a special occasion or perhaps you’re literally too big for your britches. Not to worry, the days of boring maternity wear are a thing of the past. In fact pregnant can be quite chic.
Try this Serafina Blossom printed maternity dress. It’s knotted front and bold print make it very versatile. Keep it feminine pretty for a lunch date or while on the clock at the office. Or add a little edge with a leather jacket and a large structured bag for a day out with the girls.

When it comes to fashion designer runway shows, sometimes it is all about the “unusual”. We know that designers like to have looks that are uniquely their own inspiration – who doesn’t want to do something a little more original than just another men’s t-shirt? – but some runway fashions just leave you at a loss for words.
You may think of men’s jeans as a most classic, unchanging piece of clothing. Yet, the subtle changes this may involve lead to great effects – think about what happens with butterflies. Although less obvious, there are successive trends in men’s jeans as well. What do we have in store for this fall season then?
The denim pieces to be worn this fall are narrow and straight mostly, but not skinny. It may sound more like the classic cut, but it still keeps the grunge streak, especially since we have various washes combined together. As for the length, anything goes from traditional to shortened. It is adjustable, so anyone should feel free to shorten the jeans and wrap them up as desired and as required by their height. Trim them as you wish, it will certainly not look awkward for the coming months. In any case, any nice pair of slim jeans would go with a Concept Clothing shirt; heck, any nice pair would even go with a Maison Martin Margiela t-shirt, which aren’t exactly the friendliest shirts in the world (see below!).
Color-wise, the gray shades are back in the business. Blue, black and beige stay in, but in darker washes. Prints are also allowed, continuing the spring and summer trend. Moschino and Versace have gone to a great extent in printing the jeans for fall 2013, using abstract or graffiti-like patterns. If colored is not your type, the regular distressed, medium-wash denim is a safe option and will be seen in most stores.
Visual textures will be a highlight of the season. As in Diesel look book and not only, the coating has become an essential part: you can have jeans with a wet surface look or a texture that resembles leather. Fall 2013 comes with more masculine and complimenting jeans trends.
Who would want to be all decked during the season that stretches from summer to the fall? Sure no one deserves that but this sure doesn’t give you any reason to drop your sense of style and pick up just anything that you feel like.
Be discriminating in your taste at all times! It is so easy to spot out men making common fashion mistakes during this time that it just became to irresistible to not write an article about it.
Check out the common fashion mistakes made by men to know if you’re also guilty of this by any chance, and if yes then you probably can now point out the reason why that hot babe just gave a cold shoulder to all your advances at the beach, the other day:
