Men’s Fashion Review – Diesel T-Admiral Short Sleeve Polo Shirt

With the recent resurgence of the preppy look in men’s streetwear fashion, the polo shirt is back in the spotlight. The trick is how to make it look fresh, as opposed to a repeat of fashion past. Diesel has managed to do that with the Diesel T-Admiral Short Sleeve Polo Shirt. This navy one, offered at Mainline Menswear, is fabricated in 100% cotton for comfort and breathability. Let’s see how it fares all around! 0000 ss pics 250 037 thumb 300x300 mens fashion It has the original polo design with the point collar, fitted sleeves, and patch chest pocket, but the Diesel takes the design a step further with the grey woven half-covered button placket and matching pocket bar. The contrasting placket and bar almost gives you the illusion of a tie and pocket square, making the polo look a little on the dressier side, as opposed to sporty. There’s also a cute little insert pocket for a short pencil or pen. Very chic in my opinion! This will give it more versatility in your closet, as compared to some of the other polo style shirts out there. diesel admiral white 225x300 mens fashion The Diesel T-Admiral Polo is available in several colors including white, navy, and grey. The price range is from $70-$90 USD, which is about average for a designer item. It is also available at several major department stores like Bloomingdale’s and Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as online (like at our friends’ store, Mainline Menswear). This updated polo shirt would look great on its own with your favorite pair jeans, combined with an aviator or motorcycle style leather jacket, or under a grey tweed blazer for the Fall. It’s a winner!

Men’s Fashion Advice – Answer The Ultimate Question In Underwear

When it comes to getting dressed each morning, we get ourselves into a routine that usually consists of rolling out of bed and grabbing the first thing we see. If you happen to be the type who is so laid back that you couldn’t care less about wearing odd socks or a creased shirt, now is the time to reconsider your morning routine.

Now we live in the 21st century, men are becoming more aware of their appearance and self hygiene which is a good step towards greater confidence and luck with the ladies. Comfort is the ultimate factor you must consider in order to assert your confidence. So the question is: do you wear boxers or briefs?

It is no secret that men often find it difficult to get their hands on underwear that is comfortable, durable and not to mention, stylish. While boxer shorts have always seemed like the ‘cooler’ option of underwear for a man to wear, briefs are also battling it out and becoming a popular choice among men of a variety of ages.

Musings on Men’s Fashion – Usher does it up nice with Diesel

Usher is usually a pretty fashionable fellow; he certainly puts fools like Kayne West to shame. Although he went on a bit of a break from the biz (I think because he had a child or something?), he’s back now and trying to stir up some ish. Good thing he’s rocking this tres cool leather jacket from Diesel for his latest music video. Throw on the “Lil’ Freak” video below and look for the jacket:

Lesson #91: The classic white buttoned shirt

Ah, the classic white buttoned shirt. Being a staple of your wardrobe, you should have like four of these. But, hey, who says one of those four shouldn’t be a little special…

INFEASIBLE: BORING alteration of a white shirt
This Diesel piece is dull, especially for $100 (as of 10/5/09). Two pockets and a fly front? Please, there was an Old Navy shirt just like this one a few years back…and we all know about how ON and creativity don’t play well together.

Feasible: The classic white with a little *zazz*

Yeah, I hate that word too: “zazz”. Sounds like a sugary soft drink from the 90’s. Trivialities aside, the addition of the black highlights really breathes new life into this otherwise commonplace design. It’s also not too much of an addition to negate a shirt/dark blazer combo. Smooth.
